A Powerball jackpot of $510 million was won by an anonymous winner Wednesday night in Pennsylvania, the eighth-largest jackpot in the history of the game.
The biggest Powerball jackpot was a $1.6 billion prize that was split among winners in California, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia in January 2016.
Powerball is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Saturday’s jackpot will be the 10th largest Powerball prize in the game’s history.
